Dr. Minium, Dr. Kearns and Dr. Lamb are all board certified orthodontists and limit their practice of dentistry just to the specialty of orthodontics.

Kearns.jpgMark J. Kearns, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Kearns has been practicing orthodontics since 1995. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Juniata College, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, where he graduated magna cum laude. In addition, he completed advanced studies from the University of Maryland, earning a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics.

An esteemed member of the dental and orthodontic community, Dr. Kearns is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists and is an Invisalign Platinum Provider. He maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Harrisburg Area Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontics.

Dr. Kearns is a two-time volunteer with the Operation Smile Medical Mission and has also volunteered with the Dominican Dental Mission. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Deborah, their two adult children, Courtney and Kyle and two grandchildren.  He also is a very active member of the Ski Roundtop Ski Patrol teaching both first aid and skiing and toboggan skills locally and across the northeast region.  He also enjoys sports photography, mountain biking, hiking, boating and hunting.

Lamb.jpgTaylor J. Lamb, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Lamb grew up in Hampden Township and is a Cumberland Valley High School graduate.

A math major at Bryn Mawr College, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude. She then graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, where she was inducted into the honorary dental society OKU.  Dr. Lamb completed her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science degree in oral biology at the University at Buffalo.

She currently maintains memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Harrisburg Area Dental Society.   Dr. Lamb is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists.

In her spare time, Dr. Lamb enjoys baking, volleyball and badminton.  Dr. Lamb loves to spend time with her husband and two children.

Damian K. Mariano, D.M.D., M.S. DSC_1416

Dr. Mariano is a Pennsylvania native from the Jersey Shore, PA area.  After high school Dr. Mariano graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lycoming College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.  He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where he was valedictorian of his class as well as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.  Dr. Mariano pursued his specialty education in orthodontics at Temple University where he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and received his Master of Science degree in oral biology.  He currently is board eligible with the American Board of Orthodontists.  He maintains memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Pennsylvania Dental Association.

For the past two years, after completion of his formal education, Dr. Mariano has been in private practice as an orthodontist in State College and Lock Haven, PA.  When not creating beautiful smiles in the office, Dr. Mariano enjoys spending family time with his wife Kim and daughter Eleanor.

Mark M. Minium, D.D.S.

Dr. Minium has been setting the highest standards in orthodontics since 1982. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Dickinson College and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, where he also completed the Orthodontic Residency Program.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Minium belongs to many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Harrisburg Area Dental Society and the American Board of Orthodontics. He has also been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics, has currently submitted four orthodontic patents and is an Invisalign Premier Provider.

Outside of the office, Dr. Minium enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering with the American Cancer Society. In his additional spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and running.
